Service
FreeAudioTranscription provides a free, browser-based speech-to-text tool. Features may change. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of accuracy, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Your content
You are responsible for audio you process and for how you use transcripts. Do not use the tool for unlawful purposes. Because transcription runs on your device, you keep control of the files on that device.
Open-source recognition software
On-device recognition uses publicly licensed speech models (including NVIDIA Parakeet under CC-BY-4.0). Attribution details are available on request and in the project documentation for developers redistributing model files.
No accounts (for now)
The current site does not offer user accounts, saved history, or paid plans. Future paid features, if any, will have separate terms.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeAudioTranscription and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the site or transcripts.
