Do you train on my audio?
No. The audio never reaches us, so it cannot feed any training set of ours.
Is usage unlimited?
Yes. Transcribe as many files as you want.
Is this faster than OpenAI Whisper?
Yes. On typical files it finishes about 10 times faster, because recognition runs on your device instead of waiting on an upload to Whisper.
Do you use cookies?
No. FreeAudioTranscription does not set cookies. Theme, crash recovery, and a short timing hint stay in local storage on your device.
